LOVED, they got me in straight away as a walk in. Although the technician couldn’t speak much English, she made sure to always show me to make sure I liked everything and listened to everything I said. I had Cici and she was fast and soo nice and did a wonderful job. Def going back!!
The young woman who does my nails and eyebrows at this place is very sweet and I have nothing but good things to say about her. However, the male owner, it's not very receptive to listening. I have a big toe that will not grow a nail. I have been to doctors. It has been like this for several decades and every summer I have a nail technician create an acrylic nail which lasts for about 2 months and then needs to be redone, which I'm happy to pay for. When I went in recently to have it redone, willing to pay for it of course, as it had cracked, the male owner refused to put acrylic on it and said that he would use gel to create a nail. I knew this would not last. He refused and this only lasted for about a week. When I called to ask for someone to redo it with acrylic, willing to pay of course. , I was told that there was no one there that could help me even though there is a lovely woman who has created the perfect acrylic nail for several years. I make sure to tip 25 percent as I know this is a lot of work. It is extremely disappointing that he refused help me. I have been having this done for 20 years or more so very disappointed. I will have to find a new place. I did not ever ask for any free service. I just wanted it fixed. The response below is untrue. I have been a good customer and the big toe acrylic nail has lasted a long time in most cases- usually 2 months. It was only the work of the male technician that only lasted a week and when I asked to come back in I was refused. This is the wonderful pedicure I got from another salon. Looks like it could be done.
I love this place!! I have never had such a good job done to my nails and I every time I try a new place I always come back to this one. Poly gel are my favorite nails and they are so durable for a long time. Highly recommend a visit definitely a hidden gem
I haven’t been to this shop in a few years so I wasn’t sure what to expect going in, I had an appointment for a gel manicure and gel pedicure. I arrived ten minutes early just in case it was hectic (you never know!) but from the start it was clear that this place is organized, has a calm atmosphere, and the technicians prioritize the guests that have appointments, which is a huge plus for me personally (new moms get it). I had a lovely experience with Helen. I was seated for my pedicure first, and Helen did such a fanatic job on my toes that I asked her to be the one to do my hands as well. I am barefoot most of the time and am always on my feet, so they needed some love and Helen delivered. She was gentle yet extremely thorough. She is very kind and patient, and as a technician provided a great service. I’ll definitely be coming back a requesting her again.
My favorite tech left a Middletown salon and I needed a last minute appointment and was referred to here. I saw all the reviews and though wow this place looks great. I got in with the owner and arrived 15 minutes early and was given to another person (w.e not a big deal all I asked for was a gel manicure with design and hoped I was being passed off to someone who could do that) I usually bring a Pinterest photo since I'd never been here I brought a simple sunflower on the ring finger the guy started my manicure and proceeded to cut my finger and not say anything about it. He painted my nails and they came out bumpy like if I had painted them myself, and he struggled with the flower and then chose to use cherry red for the petals, I told him I didn't like it and he was annoyed and took them off. He came back with foil press ons which cool but not what I was going for and not greatly executed pieces of fouls didn't transfer and it looks spotty. He didn't even use cuticle cream just lotion and messaged, the owner took a quick look and said very nice so I'm assuming this is what they put out. I know I got a last minuet appointment but I was there for an hour for a gel manicure with a design on one finger per hand. For $31 I'm not impressed. My one nail is like matte and dirty from the dust from taking off the red sunflower the one women pointed it out to him and he said something to her I didn't catch. I also had to go home and file my nails, they were very jagged and just not smooth. I guess it's back to searching for my go to place. Update: by Monday my nails were peeling, the foils started to peel and by Wednesday not even a week later it looked like a 3 week old manicure. One week later they are cracked and peeling.
